Michelle Shail was raised in the Commonwealth of Virginia where historic landmarks like Jamestown, Williamsburg and Charlottesville have and continue to chronicle the American Experiment.
A student of human behavior, Shail studied psychology at Appalachian State and deftly applied the acumen to business. During the Tech Boom of the 1990’s, she worked as a Modis IT recruiter connecting human capital to business growth for Fortune 1000 companies.
Shail earned an MA in Organization Development from Queens University, and went on to become a Talent Manager at TIAA, Trane Technologies, and AlignOrg Solutions.
She joined Charlatan Magazine in 2008 with a critical look at global food insecurity, and interview with Kurdistan’s Agricultural Minister Jamal Fuad. Shail has and continues to write about the compelling influencers and movements of our time.
